Your founder, Tia Harris
Tia Harris spent 17 years in education, finishing her career as a Headteacher, where she led teams, carried responsibility, and worked under sustained pressure.
During that time, she witnessed how chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation quietly impacted even the most capable people, while sleep deprivation, overwhelm and pushing through became normalised.
“Before REGULATE, there was burnout…”
In 2021, burnout forced a complete stop. Persistent anxiety, ongoing sleep disruption, and the realisation that mindset shifts alone could not fix a dysregulated nervous system led her to step away from her role.
A recommendation to try a sound bath – one she approached with scepticism – became a turning point. After a single session, she experienced deep, restorative sleep for the first time in months. It marked a clear shift: this was not relaxation, but regulation.
From there, Tia focused on understanding the science behind it. She trained as a qualified sound practitioner and studied stress, sleep and nervous system function, rebuilding her own internal regulation from the ground up.
Now, through REGULATE, she takes the “woo” out of sound therapy, offering a grounded, practical approach to help high-pressure professionals move from constant dysregulation to internal steadiness – not to escape life, but to build the physiological baseline to handle it.

Inside the studio, we are committed to:
