The Academy exists to protect the standard of the work—not simply grow the number of humans doing it.

You are being trained
to facilitate—responsibly.

You are being trained to facilitate responsibly: to understand your instruments, read the room, respect the limits of your role and create conditions in which humans remain in choice.

Technique matters.
Discernment matters more.
The person in front of you matters most.

Two ways to train

The same Academy.
A different pace.

Both routes are taught in person, only at REGULATE Studio. Both are held to the same standard. Choose the rhythm that lets you learn well.

01

The spacious route

10-week
programme.

Learning unfolds across ten weeks, creating room to practise, reflect, return with questions and let technique become embodied.

  • In person at REGULATE Studio
  • Time to practise between teaching
  • Ongoing feedback and integration
  • Maximum four participants

02

The immersive route

Two-day
intensive.

A focused, practical immersion for humans who prefer to step fully into the learning and build momentum across two considered days.

  • Two in-person training days
  • Focused teaching and practical work
  • Live facilitation and feedback
  • Maximum four participants

Not online. Not mass taught. Not rushed through.

More than instruments.
A way of working.

01

Sound & vibration

Understand what sound is doing, how vibration travels and where evidence ends and assumption begins.

02

Instruments & technique

Build confident, intentional technique across instruments, frequencies, volume, rhythm and silence.

03

The nervous system

Learn how state, capacity and sensory input shape the way a person may receive a sound experience.

04

Safety & contraindications

Know when to adapt, when to pause and when sound is not the appropriate intervention.

05

Trauma-informed practice

Create choice, reduce pressure and hold an environment without chasing a dramatic response.

06

Boundaries & ethics

Facilitate without diagnosing, rescuing or making promises that do not belong in the room.

07

Session architecture

Design a coherent experience for 1:1, group and specialist settings—with purpose behind every decision.

08

Practice & integration

Plan, facilitate, receive feedback and leave with a way of working that is genuinely your own.

Learning made real

You will not leave with
a script to copy.

You will learn to make decisions: what to play, when to stop, how to adapt, how to use silence and how to respond when the room does something unexpected.

Technique is practised. Sessions are planned. Facilitation is observed. Feedback is direct, thoughtful and usable.

Your work should sound like you—held by a professional standard.

For existing practitioners

The Academy can
count as CCE.

If you are already qualified and want to deepen your facilitation, sound practice or nervous-system awareness, the Academy experience can be undertaken as Continuing Coach Education.

Speak to Tia before enrolment so the route and learning hours can be considered against your existing professional requirements.

Tia Harris · Academy lead

Your Academy lead

Taught from lived practice.
Held by experience.

Tia Harris spent 15 years in education before building a practice in sound, energy and nervous-system support. The Academy brings both worlds together: clear teaching, high standards and the human reality of holding space.

This is guidance from lived experience—not guru culture. Questions are welcomed. Discernment is expected. You are taught how to think, not what to repeat.

Small by design.

01

Maximum four

Enough humans for real group learning. Few enough for every person to be seen, heard and observed.

02

Your Academy manual

A structured resource to support the teaching, practical work and your continued development.

03

Practice with feedback

Time to use the instruments, make decisions, facilitate and receive feedback you can act on.

04

REGULATE Studio

Every Academy takes place in the environment where this work is practised—not in a generic training room.
